Ha! This one is hilarious. Is the cat waiting on a bird? Great and fun drawings, very nice and loose!

Debra Hall replied:

Thanks for your lovely comments Maggie. Inspiration comes from watching my three cats, and, yes, their favourite hobby is bird-watching.

About Debra Hall

Debra Hall

GreyPepperArt I am a Kent artist, happiest in the garden wielding a watering can or sketch pad, and can spend hours watching my family's pets (including, cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, honey bees and geese) and other beasties, and enjoy trying to capture their antics in paint. I love animals, they lift my spirit and make me smile, and I hope to evoke this enchantment in my watercolours. My technique is 'wet in wet', laying colour on wet paper, in the hopes of happy accidents and a flowing piece of art that brings to life the lively animals I paint. And, branching out, I’m also sometimes painting using Polychromos Coloured Pencils to achieve fine detail). Please contact me direct for a similar commission (from £35). Facebook: ...
